Nest thermostat changes temp randomly

swbauer

My thermostat seems to be randomly changing my temperature that I have set manually on cool mode.  It will be set to 78 and randomly it goes down to 69.  Notice it during middle of night when I wake up cold and air conditioning is on at low temp.

H/Away assist off

Auto schedule off

early on off

leaf ready echo temp 61 - off

model Display 3.6

software 6.2-27

nothing on cool schedule

I do have a second sensor and use the sensor schedule to determine which sensor to use during the four time windows.  This is working as expected.

Hello there,

I'm sorry to hear that your thermostat isn't staying at your set temperature. Let's sort this out.

Do you have a Google Home app? If so, please check the Routines settings and see if there are thermostat actions available. If there is, remove or clear the action.

Keep me posted.

Regards,
Mark

I do have Google home but don’t use Google Voice but I turned off all the Routines anyway.  I did have Alexa linked and just for the fun of it I disabled her as well a while ago.  I haven’t left the cool/heat on overnight so I’m not sure if one or both solved problem but will reply again after I have more time to determine.

thanks

Hasn’t happened since I delinked Amazon Alexa skill and disabled all Google routines.  So good for now thanks.
