Nest thermostat compatibility

Hi,

i bought a nest learning thermostat (3rd generation) to replace my existing Honeywell wifi thermostat. I installed it but it seems it is not working ( it is only blowing cool air instead of heating up). I spent several hours with the nest product help but of no use. I am thinking of returning it but wanted to check with the community if my nest is compatible at all.  Below are the photos. Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated. Since this thread hasn't had activity in a while, we're going to close it to keep content fresh. I hope you were able to get your system up and running, and for your future reference, you use this link to change the O/B wire orientation in case your heating is not working as intended.
