We installed a new 2-stage furnace as well as an air conditioning unit. When we set the Nest thermostat to "cool", it starts out working fine and sending cooling air through the vents. However, after about an hour, it starts to send warm air through the system. It won't stay on cool. What's wrong???

Post a picture of the thermostat base showing its wiring.
What is the manufacture and model number?

Nest Pro Model Display 3.6
Serial No: ******
Device ID: ******
Thanks for any advice you could give us!

Hello everyone,
I wanted to ensure that everything was covered here.
Thanks for looking into this, @Patrick_Caezza.
@dsfnsf, I appreciate you sharing your thermostat details, but for the safety of our community members, this post was edited to remove personally identifiable information.
With this, it appears that you have the Nest Learning Thermostat 3rd generation. To confirm, is this a new installation? Also, it's best for us to look at how it was being installed with the thermostat's wiring diagram. Please share with us a picture of your old thermostat instead so we can determine how it should be wired for the Nest Thermostat.
I'll look forward to your response.
Regards,
Mark

Thanks for checking in, Mark. I think we're OK right now. We 'rebooted' the thermostat....went back to original settings and then reconnected again. It looks like that did the trick. If we have further problems, we'll be back in touch. I appreciate the offers to help!

Hi folks,
@dsfnsf, I'm happy to hear that everything has been sorted out. Since we can now consider this one complete, I will be locking this in 24 hours if we don't hear back from you again. Feel free to start a new thread, and we'll be happy to help.
Thanks for all your help here, @Patrick_Caezza and Mark.
All the best,
Zoe
