Nest thermostat cools then stops and switches to fan before temperature has been reached

Our nest thermostat says it is cooling on the screen, but then when I feel the temperature of the air the fan is blowing, it is not cool. The temperature seems to work in the evening, but not during the day. I have scheduled the cool to happen pretty much all day, switched the settings to allow cool to keep running even after the temperature has been reached, etc., but still not getting the house cooled. Any thoughts?

Thanks for reaching out here in the Google Nest Community.

I'd like to check a couple of things for us to further isolate the issue. First, check if the AC unit is turning on by checking the switch and fuses. Look for the filters and make sure they are not clogged. Restart your Nest Thermostat and once done, set the mode to cooling.
