Nest thermostat is not connecting to WiFi

WTF is going on with the Nest Thermostat??? Out of nowhere, I cannot connect to wifi. My network settings have not changed at all. I've done everything!!! Every troubleshooting step, and I even decided to factory reset and still nothing!! At nearly $300 I expect this device to work for years to come. What are you going to do for me Google?!?!

You mentioned having tried troubleshooting steps. Does that include all the ones listed below?

Does it show a list of Wi-Fi networks to connect to?

I tried everything! Theres no list of networks that appear like they should. I just get a message can't find WiFi network, please try again.

 

Very frustrating! This device is defective without a doubt. It just stopped connecting to my network for no reason and there's no changes to my network either.

How to tell which Nest thermostat you have - Google Nest Help

  1. Press the thermostat ring to open the Quick View menu.
  2. Select Settings .
  3. Turn the ring until Network appears. 

Do you see this error? "Error - nest.com/w5" at all?

Yes, I attempted all of the trouble shooting steps

Apologies, I get a lot of forum notifications and missed this topic. You don't see any error messages or help codes on the thermostat itself or in the Nest app?

If you've already tried the troubleshooting steps I linked to previously, have you tried a factory reset?

I am having the same problem and I have tried everything Google has suggested including a factory reset. It simply does not see any networks. All of my other devices connect with no problems. How can I get Google to send me a replacement?

So I'm still experiencing the same issue. I have filled out a claim form through their warranty and I suggest you do the same. It's been a month and I'm still waiting for Google to respond as they have stated they're backed up. I spent $250 as you did and this is total bull**bleep**!!!
