Hi, I have a holiday rental in France (I live in England) and have used the Nest thermostat and app to set a daytime temperature of 21 celsius (70 fahrenheit) in the rental. I have locked the temperature in the app. But guests have recently been able to manually turn the thermostat up to a whopping 24 celsius, thus overriding the app and wasting energy. In other words, the lock does not appear to work. I have read in on the web and it seems I should try a restart or factory reset as the only solution? But it seems I cannot do this from the app, so would have to go to the French house to do it all manually, sigh! Any other solutions gratefully received!!
