Nest thermostat low battery

Hello Community Chat......

Before I start explaining my issues....is the COMMUNITY CHAT a bunch of folks that have problems and try to help one another fix their issues?  Or this a google support chat with professionals working for GOOGLE SUPPORT???

SO HERE'S MY ISSUE.....Had nest learning thermostats 3rd generation for 6 months and all of a sudden it won't connect to WIFI and it has low battery and quits working until I charge it for 15 hours.  BUT then it loses battery charge again in a week and I need to charge it again.  CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME?  I've done all of the trouble shooting suggestions and nothing seems to work.  Even after battery is re-charged, I still can't connect to Wifi any longer.  Please help me if you can.
