Nest thermostat (no change in home temperature when ac runs for over 2 hours)

Hi there! I have been encountering some AC issues. We recently got a new motor for the furnace. When we set our house temperature to 21 degrees, the ac would run over 2 hours and yet, the house temperature doesn’t change. It would remain at 21.5 degrees for the two hours. We’ve had the nest and ac for over 4 years and there was no change to our settings. Does anyone know what could be the issue? Thanks in advance!

Thermostats are simply switches that turn the system on or off based on the temperature they detect.

Since you recently had a motor replaced, the problem is most likely there. Does the blower turn on when set to cool or heat?
