Nest thermostat not allowing my partner to access it. Driving my insane.

I recently had a new heating system installed and decided to get nest thermostat. I followed the instructions and now I can control the thermostat. Great. Now we tried to add my partner and we are having no luck at all. We have followed the Instructions to the letter with no joy. We get to the part where it asked for the key, but when we tap the thermostat to get the key it just says its linked to me. Please help.

I understand that thermostat issues can be confusing but I definitely wanted to stop by and see how I could help. 

 

Just wanted to double check to see if you were still needing help on this? If so, what troubleshooting steps have you tried?

Hi,

No I havnt fixed the issue, I have literally tried everything. I have googled step by step and can't see to have two of us on the nest thermostat at the same time.

Sorry to hear that you're still having issues with this, Harker. 
Would you mind letting me know if you're getting an error message or what happens when you try to link a second person on there. What troubleshooting steps have you taken as well?
