I have tried resetting both my router (new sky router), resetting the thermostats network setting and a full reset of the thermostat. I've tried to enter all network settings manually and keep getting the message 'network hidden or too far'

Hey Richard,

Having network issues with your device is not ideal, and I am sorry this is the case here. Let's see if we can isolate the issue and get you back up and running. Thank you so much for providing the troubleshooting steps already tried as well. You said the router is new correct? If you’re using a dual-band router with both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, make sure they have different names. Nest thermostat cannot connect to a 5 GHz network and may not be able to tell your networks apart. I did find a helpful article that also provides more details. Let me know if that helps.
