Nest thermostat not following basic schedule

I have my nest setup to follow a simple schedule for heating.  Comfort starts at 630am and sleep starts at 11pm.  It will not switch between temperatures at those times unless I reset the schedule and even then 90% of the time it doesn't work.  I do not have presence sensing on and as far as I can tell the only eco mode I have setup is when I change Google home to Away mode.  Anyone have any ideas as to how I fix this?

Thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry you are experiencing scheduling difficulties on your Nest thermostat. Have you tried setting the schedule following this guide? If so, did you check to ensure that you did not accidentally hold the temperature? Holding the temperature ignores the schedule.

@Cellis132, in addition to what was shared above, please check the routines and ensure that there are no thermostat actions that might trigger overriding your temperature schedule. Also, restart your thermostat whenever changes are made to its settings.

I had to do a factory reset to finally get it to follow schedule and it seems to be working now.  I tried all of the other methods posted above and nothing worked
