Not if sure any one has had this issue but my nest had my heating on for 20hrs yesterday when I have been away. I have set the thermostat to away in home/away assist and my understanding is that uses eco temps but my eco temps were default 9 degrees and it’s not been that cold so I don’t understand why it was on for such a long time. To prevent this happening again (and costing me £££) I’ve now turned the thermostat to ‘OFF’. Is this the best way to deal with the heating whilst away rather than trust the system or is my understanding of home/away assist incorrect?!
