Thanks! I simply wish to know what is the source of the Nest thermostat's outside temperature reading? Examples: is it receiving information from NOAA, The Weather Channel, Accu Weather, some unknown (to me) sensor, or what?

Hey there,
You're welcome and I understand how you feel. Your Nest thermostat uses The Weather Channel to get local weather information. If your location is incorrect, your thermostat may have trouble giving you the correct weather information.
