Nest thermostat setting

So , I have my Fl condo cooling to 72  twice a day to remove humidity and then raise it to 88. I’ve attached a photo of the schedule .
is there an easy way to change it to a constant setting (74) if I visit there without eliminating the schedule ?

Hi @povertyacresmik,

Thanks so much for reaching out to this community! I understand you'd like to temporarily set your Florida condo's AC to a constant 74°F when you visit, overriding your current 72°F and 78°F humidity control schedule without deleting it. No worries, I'm here to help you!
The ability to do this depends on your specific Nest thermostat model:

  • Nest Thermostat and Nest Learning Thermostat (4th Gen): You can use the "Hold Temperature" feature to temporarily override your existing schedule. This will maintain 74°F until you disable the hold.
  • Nest Learning Thermostat (3rd Gen) or earlier: Unfortunately, the "Hold Temperature" feature is not available on these models. For these thermostats, we recommend manually setting your desired 74°F a few days before your visit. You can then revert to your previous schedule after your trip.

Please feel free to share any additional details you think might be relevant.

Best regards,
Eduardo
