Installed a nest thermostat a few months ago after my learning thermostat died. Was workign fine and set shcedule and such. Went to adjust and home app says Wiring Error / E299: Wiring Error (C-wire is broken). Thermostat iteslf says Equipment error g.co/nest/e299. AC is still working according to schedule.

This is more likely a compatibility or power-related issue that you're experiencing. To better check this, please share with us your old thermostat and the Nest Thermostat's wiring setup. Gather the make and model of your HVAC system. Also, can you still go through its settings? If so, check the Power Info and Wiring Info in the Equipment Settings.

Reset fixed it. Going good for about a week now.
