My AC stopped working a few hours ago. Black blank screen on nest. Can’t access anything on it. Unplugged/plugged. Nothing. App says offline but wifi is working on everything else. It’s only about 5 mos old. What do I do? It’s already 80+ degrees in here.

Mine is doing the same. Did you figure out the problem?

After several hours on phone with helpdesk and a “senior manager” they determined the unit is defective. I told them this seemed to be a known problem early in the convo but it was not acknowledged. So even though my unit is less than 4 mos old, they grudgingly said they’d replace it. FYI according to website it will be a refurbished unit with only 1 yr warranty even tho my new unit has 1 yr 8 mos left on new warranty. It will take 2-7 days to receive. Meanwhile no AC in So FL. One and only time I will ever buy or use a Google product.

That’s ridiculous! At the very least you should get the remainder of the original warranty. I’m sure US product liability laws have a section that covers reducing a warranty went replacing product under a warranty. No company should be allowed replace a product with a shorter warranty than that which remains on the original product.
