Nest thermostat to run my air handler's fan for 5 minutes per hour?

I'd like my Nest to activate my air handler's fan for just a few minutes per hour, like 5 minutes per hour.  Don't need the noise or energy consumption beyond that.  Nest's "Fan Schedule" options are so close -- dropdown of "for x min each hour", but the choices are 15, 30, 45, 60.  Could Nest folks instead make this drop-down into a slider that allows any number between 1 and 60? 

Alternatively, any hack?  I'm enough of a dev to be able to write a web service that could, for example, send a HTTP request to Nest to turn my fan on and off at whatever schedule I think wise.

I understand that you would want to run your fan at a specific time with the desired settings. The options for the fan schedule are only applicable at the moment. We value our customers input.
