Nest thermostat to run my air handler's fan for 5 minutes per hour?

I'd like my Nest to activate my air handler's fan for just a few minutes per hour, like 5 minutes per hour.  Don't need the noise or energy consumption beyond that.  Nest's "Fan Schedule" options are so close -- dropdown of "for x min each hour", but the choices are 15, 30, 45, 60.  Could Nest folks instead make this drop-down into a slider that allows any number between 1 and 60?

Alternatively, any hack?  I'm enough of a dev to be able to write a web service that could, for example, send a HTTP request to Nest to turn my fan on and off at whatever schedule I think wise.

Hello bgedelman,

Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your inquiry.

I understand that you would want to run your fan at a specific time with the desired settings. The options for the fan schedule are only applicable at the moment. We value our customers input. I'll bet other users would love to have this function too. We're really working to bring more features to the Google Nest Thermostats to make them work flawlessly, so thank you for your insight.
