Hi I’m looking to replace my 2 zone heating and hot water controller with a Nest setup. I have 2 wired thermostats currently. It looks to me like I would need to buy 2 kits each containing Nest Heat Link. 1 x Nest 3rd Gen Learning Thermostat. 1 x Base Plate just to get a second thermostat. Is that correct? Or can I buy 1 x kit and an extra thermostat?I can’t seem to find thermostats only for sale. ’m based in the Uk.

2 zones = 2 kits I'm afraid

The trouble you have is the 2 zones, I expect you have underfloor heating perhaps?
2 zone systems have to have 2 stats, and sadly at present only one stat can talk to one H/L. There is a fiddle that can be done, but to be honest, best get the 2 sets.
