Its 2023 and the "smart" nest thermostat doesn't have a lock ft 😐😑

Thanks for reaching out. The lock feature is only available on the Nest Thermostat E and Nest Learning Thermostat. However, for Nest Thermostat 2020, there's a feature called Hold. When you set your Nest Thermostat to hold the temperature, it will maintain that specific temperature for as long as you want. This is convenient if you want your thermostat to ignore scheduled or automatic temperature changes for a while and stay at a specific temperature.
