Check wiring for air only thermostat

@John56 ,

Your system uses a 2-wire proprietary digital communications interface with the HVAC equipment.  Unfortunately this is not compatible with a conventional control system like typical thermostats and the Nest Thermostat uses.

Thanks for posting in the Google Nest Community forum. I appreciate you choosing Nest. Proprietary systems aren’t compatible with Google Nest thermostats. However, some proprietary systems can be rewired by a pro installer to be compatible. Please let us know if you still have questions or concerns, as we'll be willing to assist you.
