I’m totally frustrated this just started in the last couple weeks

The thermostat is showing as connected to the Wi-Fi, and I can see it on my router as connected. It’s just not visible in the iOS app.

The battery level is showing as 3.9v.

can’t talk to a person have had this since 2012 with no problems. Do I have to find a new smart thermostat?

We are having the same issue. We have 4 thermostats and a Google Nest mesh wifi network. We can see all the thermostats in the connected Wifi devices on the network but they are "offline" in the Google Home app AND the Nest app. They all have excellent wifi reception and are on different wifi mesh points in the building. They all go off and on randomly. Battery levels are 3.92v as they are all wired. I can only assume it is a Nest server issue or a firmware fault for all Nest 3rd gen thermostats??

Hello folks,

I apologize for the inconvenience caused by your Nest Thermostats going offline. We understand that this is a frustrating situation, and we want to do everything we can to make it right.

I did find a helpful article with troubleshooting steps for when your Nest Thermostat is offline. Have you had a chance to check them out and perform them? How's it going? Also, which Nest Thermostats do you have and from what country are you posting?

Let us know how it goes.

Regards,
Mark
