I have a nest thermostat I recently installed in my home. It started acting up. It runs my humidifier when the wood stove is going It only humidifies witch is normal but when I let the fire go out and the house cools down it goes orange to start the thermostat but keeps blowing cold air. If I cycle power to the furnace it starts an heats then next time it goes orange and blows cold air till I cycle power.

@Zack9 , this sound like a power sharing problem.  If the Nest Thermostat has been installed for a while a this problem showed up recently, you need to make sure nothing in your system has changed.  Verify the output of the system transformer and ensure it is putting out 24 to 30  volts of AC power.  When the system is running,  verify the AC current being supplied.
