Nest thermostat

Can my Nest work with the newly installed Heatpump. The heating is on but the App does not give the option of selecting either the 'primary' or 'secondary' source, i.e. gas or electric option.

We appreciate you taking an interest in our Nest Thermostats and leaving a post here in the Community forum. Generally, a recently installed heat pump system should be compatible with the Nest Thermostat. That being said, the compatibility and usefulness may differ based on the features that your heat pump system supports and the model of your Nest Thermostat.

Are you located in North America or Europe? What type of Nest Thermostat do you have? What is the make and model of your heat pump system?
