Nest thermostat

I have an existing nest thermostat where the battery keeps going bad so I am replacing the nest thermostat with a new nest thermostat. Should I remove the old nest thermostat before adding the new one in the nest app.

Hello @Cowboys22

Thanks for reaching out to our Nest Community about your Nest thermostat. I apologize for all the inconvenience. I'm here to help you with that.

It is not necessarily, but I suggest you delete the previous thermostat to have only the devices available on your app.

If you need help with that Visit our article remove a product from your account.

Feel free to post again if you have questions. We're here to help.

Best regards,
Douglas.
