Nest thermostats Compatibility check

We just bought a new nest and wasn’t sure of the compatibility to our system, can you please help??

Hi Asmith45, 

Thanks for posting here in the Community forum and for showing interest with our Nest Thermostats. Fortunately, your thermostat wires are compatible with our Nest Learning Thermostat 3rd generation or Nest Thermostat E and should be wired to the Nest Thermostat base as follows: 

• Yellow wire to Y1
• White wire to W1
• Green wire to G
• Red wire to R or RC

You can just disregard the jumper wire since it's not needed for Nest Thermostats. Also, here's a guide for the installation and setup of a Nest Learning Thermostat 3rd generation or Nest Thermostat E.
