Nest thermostats don't reconnect to WiFi

My Nest thermostat app works perfectly well as long as the two thermostats I have are running online; however, I am not at home most during the day, so I turn them off (through the app) when I leave for work. When I am about to leave work, 10 hours or so later, I try to turn them back on, and they never reconnect to WiFi. They never come back online. The app just keeps them turned off even though I set them to cool... nothing. They remain off until I manually turn them on when I get home. This is annoying since down south here the house is at 91 degrees when I get back home. What is happening?

I'd like to jump in here and check a couple of things for us to further assist you. Which Nest Thermostat are you using? Do you have a C (common wire) connected to it? Also, may I know how you turn the Nest Thermostat on from the display?
