Nest Learning Schedule not working???

So I'm just trying out the schedule mode.

Went to the calendar and setup time and temperature.  When time finally arrive, the thermostat is not on.

Am I supposed to do something else other than set the time and temp?

Are you saying that you've set the schedule to be 78 until 4:00 and then 73 starting at 4:00 (pretend those are your numbers), but after 4:00 the Nest display still shows that it believes you want it to cool to only 78?

Two things to look at:

1.  Make sure that the "smart" features are turned off.  Turn off Home/Away Assist and Presence Sensing.  Make sure that Eco Mode is off.  With all of those features off, the Nest should follow the schedule you've set.

2.  Does the Nest react when you manually turn the dial (on the unit, or virtually in the app) down to 73?  Does the AC come on and cool your house?
