Nest time zone issue

My nest thermostat will not display the right time zone and I have to adjust my schedules to the displayed zone. My home address is correct in the google home app and the correct time zone is on the WiFi router. I have tried several “fixes” to no avail. Please help.  Thank you

Judging from other postings in this forum, it seems that Google's address database has incorrect time zone assignments for some addresses around the world. Further, Google Nest doesn't seem to want to acknowledge this, and keeps telling people it's a problem with their device or something else. Even when given explicit examples where Google has the wrong time zone attached to their address, Google Nest seems to refuse to even understand the issue.

Perhaps this is happening in your case. Is your Wi-Fi router a Google device? If it is, it would be weird for one Google device to have one time zone and another Google device to have another time zone. But if your Wi-Fi router is a non-Google device, then maybe you're one of the unlucky customers where Google's database has the wrong time zone for your address. If so, good luck in trying to get Google Nest to even acknowledge the issue.

My post does not provide a solution. It points out that for some customers, Google's own address database has the wrong time zone assigned to some addresses, and--at least so far--Google Nest has refused to even acknowledge what customers are reporting. If that is the cause of this customer's issue, then Google Nest should provide the solution.
