Nest turned off AC

My Nest thermostat is set on a schedule to keep the AC temperature at 72 F. The Auto Schedule is turned off. I just returned after being out for three hours and the house is at 78 F. Is there some other setting you should address?

Sorry to hear about this situation with your Nest Thermostat. No worries, help is here! Please make sure that there isn't any schedule that you aren't aware of. Here are the steps to Reset the schedules and remove them:

• Go to Settings  > Reset > Schedule

Additionally, you can disable the Home/Away Assist, so your thermostat won't change the temperature by itself. You'll find the steps below:

1. Open the Nest app.
2. Tap Settings Nest settings icon on the home screen.
3. Select Home/Away Assist.
4. Toggle the Home/Away button, then check if the products are working as intended.
