Nest turning on heating but not hot water

Recently moved house where a set of nest thermostats were installed. While we were waiting to have Wi-Fi set up, the nest worked perfectly, heating and hot water on schedule and I could boost the hot water from the thermostat, Today our wifi was installed and I reset the nest to factory settings as the nest was still connected to the old owners app. Following this reset, the heating is working but the hot water will not come on either by schedule or by boost? I have reset the nest again with no luck.

The boiler clicks/activates when the temp on the thermostat is turned up. It does not click/activate when the hot water is turned on either by schedule or by boost.

Any ideas?

I am also faced with the same problem since yesterday. I got an emergency gas engineer to check the boiler but it's all working fine. The issue is the nest thermostat which is not opening the motorised valve when schedule comes on or when boosted, both through the app and when I tried manually via the heat link. Let me know if you find a resolution.

I fixed it this morning! In error, when I reset the pair of nests yesterday, the upstairs nest reconnected to the heat link first and although it displayed as if it was the hot water controlling nest, it had actually connected to the heat link without the ability to control the hot water. I only realised the heat links were switched when  I turned on what I thought was the downstairs heating and the upstairs heating came on instead. To fix this, I reset both nests to factory settings again and ensured that the first one I set up with the hot water controls was to the correct heat link by entering the code on the side of the heat link (it wouldn’t connect wirelessly anyway). When both links were fully set up and connected to the app, I could boost the hot water from either the nest or the app and I have hot water running again!
