Nest will not connect with Wifi

We've purchased our Nest about 2 years ago with no issues.  We are now experiencing issues with the nest showing "network disconnected for 8 days".  We usually don't check the thermostat as we have set the temperature when we are not at home for work.  

After going through the process of manually connecting to the network, I noticed that there are no listings of ANY networks...especially devices in the house.  After multiple failures, I reset the router, modem and the nest under setting with the same message of network connection failure.  

I have seen similar issues with other Nest owners on your site and we need assistance to move forward to correct this problem.

To better understand the situation, please help me by answering the following questions:

  • What type of Nest thermostat do you have?
  • Does the thermostat display show any error codes or messages?
  • Are you trying to connect to the 2.4 GHz or the 5 GHz network?
  • What's the software version of your thermostat?

Also, we need to make sure what the battery level is on your thermostat. Please check the following steps:

  1. Go to Technical Info > Power > Battery.
