Hi all
Got a nest to wire up in the next week or so. Replacing a old siemens controller with wiring pictured below.

Now I guess the black wire, thats currently in L1 on the Siemens, will connect to number 3 on the nest controller, whilst the grey wire in LX will go to number 2 on the nest controller.
Live and Neutral in the top 2 connections will be pretty simple going to each matched label on the nest controller
Thanks

Hi chrisc90,
Thank you for reaching out to the community. I understand that you need help wiring your newly purchased Nest thermostat. Let’s work together to find a solution.
To address your concern, I highly recommend checking your current thermostat’s wires to determine if your system is compatible. Here is a good article to review the compatibility checker for your current system.
Next, contact a local HVAC system professional. A trained technician can quickly diagnose your system, identify the wires, and install your Nest thermostat.
Please let me know if you have any further questions.
Regards,
Byron
