Nest with Power Connector C-Wire Substitute - System Issue Error N260

I have an oil burner with a 2-wire connection at the thermostat.  I installed the c-wire substitute at the furnace and it seemed all was fine.  I was able to get the burner to come on and off based on changing the temp at the Nest.

Now my heat is actually kicking on since it's getting colder.  It kicked on yesterday and I'm sure overnight, too.  Today I had an error message that said System Issue Error N260.  It appears this is indicating some sort of power issue.

Do I need another device to get this fully working?  I can't have my heat not coming on in New England in the Winter....

Hello grogers11,

Thanks for consulting on your Nest Power Connector installation issue here in the Google Nest Community. I'd be happy to take a look at this for you.

The N260 message code indicates a power problem. Try troubleshooting by checking the power connections at the furnace. Ensure that the Nest Power Connector is securely connected, and consider testing with a multimeter to verify power levels. If the issue persists, make sure that your Nest Thermostat's software version is up-to-date by checking its settings.

Let me know how it goes.

Regards,
Mark
