Nest

Really not enjoying the nest thermostat, it doest have a boost option and the thermostat is only stating that the indoor temperature is significantly higher that it actually is. The true temperature could 12 degrees but the thermostat says it 22, meaning the heating doesn't come on even when it's freezing. I have restarted the device avail and read similar community posts. Seriously switching to competitor

This is not my experience at all, if the nest is reading the wrong temperature it could be a setting issue, install issue, or faulty device.  If the device is faulty then getting a replacement from Google would be in-order.  One thing I have seen that causes temp issues is where the unit is mounted in the home.  If mounted on a wall that gets direct sunlight that can cause a mis read, and you should turn on the sun block feature.  If that is already on, then check the wall behind the unit, is it hollow?  Is there a draft in the wall that has warm air, which would affect the thermostat?
