Do you have a C wire connected?

The battery will not stay charged if you do not have a C wire.

Hi folks,

I wanted to stop by and see how I could help.

Thanks for the assistance, @Houptee. That helps.

@Ceph_Armienta82, most of the time, your heating and cooling wires can be used to charge the internal batteries in Google Nest thermostats. To reliably supply power to their thermostat, you might occasionally need to connect a common wire, often known as a C wire, or the Nest Power Connector. If you have the Nest Thermostat (2020), it often requires a C wire to work.

Have a look at this article and let us know if you need more help.

Thanks,

Mark
