New Baxi Boiler fitted and Nest no longer operating boiler

Had a Baxi Eco Compact condenser boiler fitted a couple of weeks ago by a gas registered fitter. Was away from home so hadn't realised that the Nest Thermostat App on my phone wasn't working correctly. I have reconnected the heat link to the thermostat and then to the app successfully. The problem seems to be operating the boiler via the thermostat and app.  I've spoken to the installer who had wired up the heat link the same way it had been with the previous boiler (which was a Vaillant) I know I'll need a qualified person to resolve this but would like to understand the problem  before I do so. Any advice would be appreciated - thank you in advance

Thank you for the information @Davojill . Could you give me some more details about what seems to be going on with the app and the thermostat? Is the schedule not followed, heating does not activate or does not turn off, disconnects from Heat Link or is something else going on?
