I recently installed the nest thermostat and AC works fine, but they heat does not work. I have a picture of the old setup and the new. Can someone help determine if the wiring is correct?

I have a new installation and the natural gas heat will not come on, just the blower. AC works fine. When I put the old thermostat back in, it works great. Pics of old and new wiring are attached. Details: New Google Nest G4CVZ GA01334-US. Bryant Gas Furnace Model 313 Please advise ASAP, I need heat!

Hey gregallanfl,
I am sorry to hear you are having trouble, I would be happy to help out. Taking a closer look at the picture provided, I am showing that you have a couple stranded wires. Do you happen to know what the orange and brown wire control on your system?
Nest Thermostats are not compatible with stranded wiring, and I would recommend having a Nest Pro come out and take a closer look. They would be able to install the device and ensure everything is working properly. Please let me know if you have any questions from here.
Best regards,
Jake

When I looked at the google home app. Settings -> thermostat -> wiring wiring the OB * wiring diagram showed that it was connected and thought I had a heat pump! I don't have a heat pump and asked the wiring to disconnect it. I now have heat for the winter in Florida! Thank you!
