What if I have two 2nd gen thermostats? Can I get a special price for the second one?

Yes. If you use the link to product purchase in the email sent, Google recognizes how many you have and applies discount to that many.

Yeah, this didn't work. Only allows one thermostat per house.

Thank you Kevin, but I'm good. I have a 1st gen and what turns out to be a 3rd gen thermostat. Google is continuing to support the 3rd gen, so only need to replace the one. Thank you for the response!

You can fully expect they're just gonna do the same thing to this new version in 5-10 years. Go with a different brand that doesn't pull BS like this.
