No Usage history since 3/15/2025

The most recent Usage data is March 15, 2025. App is up to date. Rebooted phone  but it didn't fix the problem.

Anyone have this problem?

Hallo

Je smartphone datum op 8 maart zetten. Chromecast volledig opnieuw installeren zowel Google Home.

Chromecast woord terug betekenisvol. Ondertussen mag je de datum terug naar huidige datum veranderen Beetje geduld tot hij volledig geupdate is.

Kan snel maar ook een dag van 2 overgaan. Daarna kun je terug genieten van je chromecast en streamen

Correction: usage history is a day behind where it used to be. Instead of the most recent entry being "yesterday" it's the "day before yesterday"

Same for me for the last several days-i think since time change.

Hi Dsartain7,

Thank you for posting in the community. I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing the same issue as described in this thread. I understand how frustrating that can be, and I'm here to help.

Based on the troubleshooting steps provided earlier, I recommend trying the following:

  • Clear the App Cache:

    • On your phone, go to "Settings" > "Apps" > "Nest or Home" > "Storage" > "Clear cache". This can resolve temporary data conflicts.

  • Update the app:

    • Ensure the app is updated to the latest version on your phone.

  • Reinstall the app:

    • If clearing the cache doesn't resolve the issue, try uninstalling and reinstalling the app.

  • Check Phone's Date and Time:

    • Ensure your phone's date and time are set to "Automatic" or are correctly configured. Incorrect date and time settings can sometimes cause synchronisation issues.

  • Restart Your Phone:

    • A simple phone restart can resolve many temporary software glitches.

Please let me know if the issue persists after trying these steps. I look forward to your response.

Regards,

Kevin

My  usage history now shows yesterday as the most recent day. Hopefully yours is back to normal as well

Hi IndianaDave,

Thank you for posting in the community. I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing trouble viewing the usage history on your Google Nest Thermostat. I understand how frustrating that can be, and I'm here to help.

To help us troubleshoot effectively, could you please answer the following questions:

  • What specific model of Google Nest Thermostat do you have?

  • When did you first notice this issue?

  • When did you last see the usage data update correctly?

  • Have you tried restarting your Nest Learning Thermostat itself?

  • Have you recently made any changes to your Wi-Fi network, such as changing your password or router?

In addition to answering these questions, please try the following troubleshooting steps:

  • Clear the App Cache:

    • On your phone, go to "Settings" > "Apps" > "Nest or Home" > "Storage" > "Clear cache". This can resolve temporary data conflicts.

  • Update the app:

    • Ensure the app is updated to the latest version on your phone.

  • Restart Your Phone:

    • A simple phone restart can resolve many temporary software glitches.

Please provide your responses to the questions and let me know if the issue persists after trying these steps. I look forward to your response.
