We have a newly installed AC with a professionally installed Nest E. Everything worked perfectly until we went away for 10days. Now we don’t have a COOLING option. I restarted the thermostat and that didn’t help. Our condo is 85 degrees in Florida! Please helpASAP

Hi Kol,
Thanks for reaching out here in the Google Nest Community.
I am sorry that you're experiencing this on your HVAC system. Have you tried doing a restart on your Nest Thermostat? Were you able to check if there's anything wrong from the AC unit or any busted fuse?
Let us know how it goes by replying to this thread.
Best regards,
Ryan

We don't have the option of cooling on our Nest. Only heat. How can I cool my house? All the videos are for systems with a heat/cool function. I don't have that option.

Hi Saritaelaine075,
Thanks for the reply.
Could you share a photo of the wiring configuration from the base of your Nest Thermostat E? If possible, check if the wire on the Y terminal is loose or we could remove and reinsert it.
Note: Make sure to turn off the HVAC switch before touching any wire.
Let me know how it goes by replying to this thread.
Regards,
Ryan
