I have first connected the wires, yellow -Y1, red to Rh, green to G and white to W1 according to instructions then I got e80 error, so I connected blue wire to C port and now I started getting no power to RH port.
I tried changing the power source from Rh to Rc but no change. On top of all this my thermostat is continuously shutting down due to low battery. I have charged it for 3 hrs manually with usb and nothing changes.
This is very frustrating and I ended up spending more than 8 hrs trying out different combinations.
It’s definitely not due to broken fuse as traditional thermostat works fine. Tried out all the trouble shooting options found in internet.
Update:
issue has been fixed. Due to continuous power on off on main board the fuse has blown out. We have replaced the fuse ( got two fuses for $6 from Home Depot) and tried again. Nest is working fine now.
