I installed my new Learning Nest thermostat and the wiring does not include a blue wire. I have a green white and red and yellow - but no blue. I did charge the nest after I got the low battery message. What can I do to keep it charged?
Will I get that low battery again. IS there something I can with the wiring to help the voltage.
As a result of the low voltage i get that thermos stat is offline.

So the blue wire is the C wire and provides power to your nest. The only other time that it would get a charge when there is no C wire is when the system is engaged. Saying this, you can purchase a C wire adaptor from Google to resolve this:

Would that also apply to a Nest Learning thermostat - I f I just charge it periodical would that work?
Should I get a another version of a nest thermostat.

Yep all versions need a C wire, but you may have luck without one depending on your system setup and how often it runs. Keep an eye on the voltage levels, you may be okay, but know that the adapter is a great option for you.
