- What is the model of your Nest thermostat? Here’s a helpful article about how to identify your thermostat model.
- Is there a wiring report or error message on your thermostat, Nest app, and/or Google Home app? If so, what exactly does the error message say?
- Are the power breakers on, and is your home receiving power?
- Is the thermostat's display seated properly?
- Are all the wires of your thermostat seated firmly in its terminals (with no loose or exposed wires)?
- What is the make and model of your heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment?
In the meantime, let's try the following:
- Carefully remove the thermostat's display and check for bent connector pins.
- Verify that the thermostat wires are securely connected and all buttons are pressed down.
