Original (1st generation) Nest Thermostat

Original Nest thermostat (1st generation)  dial turns but no longer responds. Cannot adjust temperature manually. Is there anything that can be done or does it need to be replaced?

Thanks for reaching out. A few questions: in what country are you located? Can you control your thermostat using the app? When did you purchase your thermostat? Please take a photo of the back and the edges of your thermostat display. Check if your thermostat seems loose when it connects to its base. Also, check for 20 pin connector at the back of your thermostat display.
