Please unlock thread “Trying to add power connector”

Added power connector to P4 on burnham furnace.  No error messages.  Nest working normally.  Power connector detected.  Removed lead from envirocom port that Burnham recommended and spliced into P4 as instructed.  Now batteries drained every three weeks.  Have followed all your instructions for months.  Nothing has worked.  Please refer to my earlier now locked thread.

I read everything in the other thread, and I'm a bit confused.

How do you currently have the Google Nest thermostat wired?

Which connector and pin do you have the W, R, and C wires connected to on the control board in the boiler?

Could you help me with the power reading from Settings > Power Info of your Nest Thermostat after the situation where the batteries drain every three weeks? I’ll look forward to your response.

Power connector installed following instructions for heating only systems.  Common wire spliced into brown wire of p4 as it registered 24 vac when tested against terminal 2 of envirocom port.  All explained in thread.  System readouts all normal but batteries only lasts 2-3 weeks.
