After 6 months, 1 of our 3 nest thermostats stopped working. It is summertime in Florida and guests are coming to stay in the part of the house where nest died. Google’s customer service solution was to send a new NEST that would arrive within 4.5 days of my call. I requested expedited shipping and they refused after initial supervisor agreed. The only sooner solution was that I could get reimbursed $30 to buy and install myself a manual thermostat. I’m extremely disappointed in my customer service experience with Google. Pedro, the customer service supervisor, did not solve my problem and exited our chat, leaving me hanging. Google should stand by their products and if they sell a defective one, they should respond promptly and not cause their customers to suffer. Amazon could have shipped one in 24 hours.
