Powering an unpaired thermostat via Heatlink

I'm just installing 2 heatlinks and 2 stats in an S plan (with 2 zones) and am planning on 'stealing' the power from a heatlink paired with the other stat wirelessly. My concern is, would a hard wired stat not be force-paired with the heatlink it's getting it's 12v power from? I hope not as it'd save me a lot of re-wiring work.

Have done some tests now. for anyone interested  - yes you can power a stat from a heatlink which is not to be connected with the stat in need of 12v power supply
