Problems with Rush Hour Rewards

Has anyone had problems actually getting the incentive for the Rush Hour Rewards. Nest says I'm enrolled and I occasionally get notified that's there's been an event. I have never received the gift card. My utility is Duke Energy.

Hi @Saterry ,

You will need to reach out to Duke Energy for help with the participation reward. Duke Energy - Google Nest Help .

I have a different energy provider and did get my sign up bonus from them directly on my bill.

Same.  I have been enrolled for years but have never not once received a gift card for a rebate. Aside from that, the rush-hour is only supposed to tweak your temperature up to 4°. Lately during the summer rush hours, it has been raising my temperature 8°. After an hour and a half or so of the rush-hour I notice I’m sweating so I check the temperature and they turn it to 78! I keep it at 70

Hi folks,

Thanks for your help, JillG.

Saterry, If you activated your thermostat and completed the steps to enroll in the RHR program in the required time frame (typically 60 days), then you should receive the incentive. The marketplace handles the incentive. You may reach out to your marketplace provider for assistance. As shared by JillG please go to Duke Energy for your incentive.

X1, I feel you on this. A few questions: when did the issue start? What type of thermostat do you have? Is your thermostat on Eco mode?

Looking forward for your response.

Regards,

JT
