Thermostat doesn’t auto turn on or off

The thermostat won’t  automatically kick on or off when the temperature goes below or above my manually-set temperature . I usually choose “ Cool” mode and set my temp to 75 degree, I notice if the temp goes up to 76 degree, the thermostat won’t automatically turn on. I wonder if I did anything wrong.

My 1st gen had a schedule that I changed in the nest app. Each day can be scheduled or just hold the day and copy and paste it to the others. At the bottom I hit “copy week” and it fixed my issue. Hope it helps.

I found that the solution my Installer gave me worked after I did one additional thing.  I saw a post that had a solution similar to what my Tech said. Tech told me to turn nest off from the app or the wall then turn back on but put in echo mode. The first times it did nothing until I read a post here that said the same thing but also put Eco mode low as possible. I lowered echo to 70-76 and the system is working great since then!
