Promises to replace defective wifi chips

  • Just letting people know that contrary to advertised promises, Google does NOT replace Nest Thermostats with defective wifi chips out of warranty.  The only reason for such extensive advertisements is that Google wants the appearance of standing behind it's products without actually doing so.

Hello chriswilliamdav,

I'm sorry if you have to go through this. We'd like you to have a better experience. I'd love to help.

It appears that your Nest thermostat could not connect to your Wi-Fi network. Could you please tell us what are the steps you've done so far? Are you getting any message code? Also, you might want to check this link related to your concern.

I'll look forward for your response.

Best regards,

Mark
